Today June 29, 2020, our Club has received from the hand of the Deputy Mayor of San Pedro Alcántara Javier García, Sports Delegates in San Pedro Alcántara Javier Mérida and Juan José Almagro, a commemorative award in which they thank the work that Sportcab has done during confinement continuing trainings Online.
3 Weekly trainings during quarantine
Since the day the Alarm State began in Spain and we were unable to train in person, our Club has created 3 weekly trainings online, with a total of 43 trainings.
Workouts designed by our physical trainer Dario Bindoni
Coordination, Endurance, Agility, Strength, Technique and weekly Challenges, all the trainings were designed by our Physical Trainer Darío Bindoni, where all these factors were taken into account.
Trainings available to everyone
Our workouts were available to any player from any club who wanted to remain active during confinement.
For example, players from Gibraltar were able to continue training at home with Sportcab.
Children as protagonists
To be close to our players, we made video calls where we could see first-hand how they were digesting the quarantine.
With the intention of involve and encouraging them, we created a database of exercises where they were the protagonists. You can see these videos publicly on our Youtube Channel.
Our Physiotherapist Mishaal Alomar also contributed to the adaptation of the exercises to the new measures that the Government was implementing in the different Phases.
Coaches like Edilson Sousa, Sergio Caballero and Diego Vera also participated in the videos to inspire the children.
Sportcab ART
One of the most amazing and rewarding discoveries of this period of confinement was the talent beyond Soccer that our players treasure. You can see that art in our Sportcab ART section.
FIFA 20 Online Championships
It is without a doubt one of the favorite Games of our players and the most popular. We were able to liven up this quarantine with 2 FIFA 20 Tournaments, where players from different categories were able to face each other and enjoy the company in the distance.
You will be able to see the Jasim vs Max finals and the qualification phase and the Jasim vs Fred final.
25% monthly fee used for credit next season 2020/2021 during cuarentine
At Sportcab we are aware of the economic situation, this is why we discount 25% of the Monthly Fee for next season as a credit, in order to help the families.
Solidarity and food collection
Since 2 years ago within the Club we have a Donations section, where families help others financially anonymously.
Without any doubt during this period, families have helped each other a lot. These donations and expressions of solidarity between them increased considerably. The Club is extremely proud.
In the same way, during the confinement, a food collection was carried out to help the neediest families in our community San Pedro Alcántara and Marbella. You can see it here.
Back to training
Both Sportcab and the other Clubs await approval from the City Council to resume normal training activities.
