Normative
- Dimensions: between 14-18 m wide, 15-20 m long.
- Attack and defense zone: between 14-18 m and 4-5 m long with a 7 a side goal.
- Penalty Position: Located at 11 m far from the goal line.
- Referee: In each match, two judges will referee. A chief judge who will be at the foot of the field. And an assistant judge who will be at the control table. The head judge will be in charge of directing the match and distributing the balls to the respective goalkeepers. The assistant judge will be in charge of controlling the time of the game and recording the results, as well as notifying the participants of the subsequent sets.
- Duration: The matches will last 2 minutes on time. The duration of the exhibition matches will vary, depending on the various factors that surround the exhibition. Play time will only be interrupted by one of the referees when the following cases occur:
- Injury of one of the goalkeepers.
- There are no balls available on the field.
- In the field of game there is more than one ball.
- A penalty is given
- The referee considers it appropriate.
- Shoot: The shoot by a goalkeeper can be done with any part of the body. With the foot they will be able to make throws of bolea, to boat soon, to set pieces …
- Reject:
- When a goalkeeper makes a throw and the ball enters his own goal rejected by the goal posts or by the opposing goalkeeper, the goal will be valid.
- When a goalkeeper makes a rebound and the ball comes out on the end line or on the side line you will get possession of the ball.
- The goalkeepers may not leave their area at the time of making a throw to the opposing goal, unless it comes from a rejection of the opposing goalkeeper or one of the posts of the opposing goal. Having the possibility to finish the play (in a maximum time of 6 seconds), even if the ball is out of your area.
- The goalkeepers may not leave their area when defending, unless a rejection has occurred on the part of one of the posts of their goal or by the goalkeeper, without being able to invade the opponent’s field. That is, they can only defend in their half of the field.
- Shooting Time: The goalkeepers may not maintain the position of the ball more than 6 seconds.
- Fault: When a goalkeeper commits a foul, the referee or judge will sanction him with the penalty kick, and time will stop.
- Penalty: For the penalty shot the ball will be placed on the point indicated on the field of play (if this was not painted the referee will measure it approximately), located 11 meters from the goal line. The sanctioned goalkeeper must be placed on the goal line, between the posts and under sticks. The sanctioned goalkeeper may move on the goal line. As soon as the goalkeepers are ready in their corresponding places and the referee notifies him, the pitch may be made. Only the throws made forward, with the foot and in which the attacking goalkeeper does not touch the ball more than once, will be valid. If after the shot the ball hits the post, you can hit it again. If you reject in the goalkeeper, you can go back to finish.
- Delay: In case a goalkeeper arrives late or does not show up for a match, he will be considered lost with a 3-0 result against him.
- Clothing: The goalkeepers must be dressed correctly (short sleeve or long sleeve shirt, shorts, long or pirate, gloves and boots appropriate to the field).
- Boots: You will not be able to wear aluminum cleats.
- Victory: The goalkeeper who, at the end of regulation time, scored more goals than his opponent wins the game.
- Points:
- 3 points match won.
- 1 point match draw.
- 0 poin match lost.
- Draw:
- In the event of a tie in the matches corresponding to the round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals, alternate throws will be made by the two goalkeepers until a tie break occurs (sudden death).
- In case of a tie in the qualifying table, the general goal-average will be taken into account (difference between goals scored and conceded goals). If this were the same, the goalkeeper with the most goals in favor would pass.
- Sanctions: The goalkeepers will address the referees and between them correctly, otherwise they will be penalized with a penalty. If the foul is very serious, the judges may disqualify the goalkeepers.
- Normative acceptance: Participation in the 2017 Sportcab Goalkeeper Battle entails acceptance of these regulations.
